Stephen A. Curry, Pastor - Steve Curry is a second-career pastor having worked as a computer programmer at Trinity University for over 25 years. After receiving his call, he attended Perkins School of Theology (the seminary at Southern Methodist University) graduating in 2013. He was appointed to La Vernia UMC where he served six years before being appointed to Kimble Country in 2019 where he serves both First Methodist Church, Junction, and London Methodist Church. Steve and his wife, Sharon, have one son, Benjamin who works at Texas A&M while serving in the Texas National Guard.

History
The community of London was formally chartered in 1882. The London Methodist Episcopal Church South was established that same year and partnered with First Methodist in the Kimble County seat of Junction which was chartered the previous year. London closed sometime after 1915 and was reinstated in 1940. The same pastor serves both London Methodist Church and First Methodist Church of Junction.
